Hello

I am a marketing professional who has had a diverse career working within universities, leading central marketing and recruitment teams as well as driving marketing activities within academic schools and departments. I have also worked in senior roles within commercial agencies supporting student engagement and leading HEI marketing campaigns, and led on graduate recruitment and equality, diversity and inclusion campaigns for a broad spectrum of business and brands, including Channel 4, Capgemini, Nestle, Clifford Chance, Three, Tesco and Cisco.

I have worked with a variety of institutions and organisations driving student recruitment growth - across the UK and internationally. I have developed marketing communication plans focussed on academic research and reputation, support and student life, and employability. I have led on large scale implementations of multiple CRMs and delivered comprehensive strategies alongside multiple internal and external stakeholders.

In 2021, after many years of dipping my toe into consultancy, I took the leap and launched An Outsider Consultancy. An Outsider is focussed on supporting marketing, recruitment and communications teams in Higher Education institutions to have a fresh perspective on what they are doing, where they are going, and how they can get their more quickly, and smarter.
